This may not be the sort of thing that makes you jump for joy, but I beg that you share a fraction of my enthusiasm for this welcome news from the health department.
Think back to your kitchen tour, when you witnessed my weepy lamentation about how unfair it was that we only had a three-day shelf life for our soups once we take them to our stores. Well, we just received word, as shown below, that we can now enjoy a seven-day shelf life at normal refrigeration temperatures. Our labels will reflect this change, they will say “Eat or freeze within 7 days from purchase.”
